here is a very interesting set of images, time lapse specifically, which show the changes in a harbor village, the comings and goings, the days and the nights, the weather changes and the ebb and flow of the tides -- enjoy!

Portrait by the Mellon

an associate to marilyn has a blog for and about painters and recently sponsored an event with 133+ artists where photographs were supplied by many of them to be exchanged with another unknown associate for the expressed purpose of creating each other's portrait. the selections were chosen in the blind by the hostess of the blog and the results have been published for viewing. there were quite a lot of very successful entries!
shown above is the portrait done for the creative event by our very own "mellon":
Gettin' Up With Matthew

it was nice for us to spend some quality time with our dear bro matthew this evening at our
kk&matthew prior to his 1st major surgery
favorite dining room at the cracker barrel. matthew is in town regularly for follow-up visits with his staff of doctors at the local VA. he has undergone some major surgery(ies) in the recent past and we are very excited with him that he still has a voice and a willingness to speak out! blessings to you matt, we are with you
all the way ...
K&M p.s. your project is looking great!
