KennMan, I came here because Google told me you mentioned Edgard, LA on your blog. I am interested in Edgard, because there, a long time ago, during your early youth, maybe, there was a group of musicians and whatnot and what for, who came from California in the early 1970's and stopped in Edgard for a time behind the levee and set up camp. One of those musicians left and went into N.O. and she worked and lived on Magazine Street, at night she played R&Bs music at a place called the Beacon I think. So, to cut to the chase, I want to find out if you know anyone in Edgard who remembers Papa Dukie and the Mud People, because I am trying to write about that woman.
